This series came to fruition after overcoming a bout of self-consciousness in using myself as the primary subject for a project focused on manipulating portraits. I believe artists should use what they have at their disposal. And for me, that was…me.

Solitude is where I make art, deepdive my psyche, challenge my thinking, and learn who I am at my core. My own imagination is the most prominent company I keep.
